I was diagnosed with Psuedo Tumor Cerebri in June 1999. I nearly went blind before the doctors figured out what it was. I did not have to have surgery, I was lucky!!!!. I had several spinal taps to drain the fluid from my brain. I also take furosemide (water pill). I am better now, but I thought I was going to die and sometimes I actually hoped I would (the pain was like nothing I had ever experienced before) but who am I talking to, you know the pain of which I speak.
