Angela, I am 41 years old and have nystagmus all my life. I have 3 children and one of them (10 years old) also has nystagmus. It is true that there is not much you can do about it. However, be encouraged to know that I have a professional job, am married and have 3 nice children. You can lead a perfectly normal life with nystagmus and I hope you will be encouraged to know this. After a while, people cease to tease you about your "dancing" eyes and it becomes just a sort of fascination for those who mention it at all. C in Canada
