How can you handle, manage or get off medications when you have to go to 4 or 5 different doctors and they all prescribe different things. My medications are almost $1,000. per month. Insurance pays for most of it, but I don't think I need all of them or they do not work and why take drugs for no reason. As I said, I have sjogrens Syndrome, live in South Florida and most healthcare people have never heard of it. How do you know when you take to much medications. I have also had Thyroid Cancer (3 follicular carcinomas) Large follicular adenoma approximately 3 centimeters in diameter and almost the entire left lobe of the Thyroid; 1-1.5 centimeter nodule in the posterior lateral aspect of the left lobe of the Thyroid muscles. I also have multiple medical problems and many many surgeries. Unfortunatelly, in Florida it is hard to find anyone who knows what to do. I was originally diagnosed at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore Md. That was in 1992. As I said, I need some kind of help or counseling .
