I see that I am not alone with my feelings about H-Pylori. I tested positive last year in March after losing 36 lbs in 3 weeks with burning, painful stomach, growling nausea and diarrhea. We tried to do the PrevPac and I couldn't complete it. I then started having increased problems in May this year and still had the H-Pylori and test blood at 290. (WOW) I took the PrevPac again without problems but still had the burning sensation. I had a colonoscopy which was negative and an UGI which was negative. I have history of IBS since 92 and they told be all my symptoms presently are extreme IBS. I am still uncomfortable with it all. My GI doctor said he couldn't test me for 3 months to see if the H-Pylori is gone because it takes that long for the titer to go down. From reading what everybody has been going through, I wonder if any one has any other suggestions. They have put my on a female only IBS drug that is causing it's own set of problems. HELP...
