I also have vertigo and suffered intensely until my doctor sent me to the UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. I was tested and diagnosed with Meneire's Disease (a imbalance of fluid in the inner ear) As far as I know there is still no cure. I take valium when I have an attack and I take daily dyazide (a fluid pill) I am not overweight. It came on suddenly and was undiagnosed for a year. But, since I am on medication and avoid salty food and try to take care of myself I get along pretty good. I have had it for 12 yrs.
