sounds to me like you may not be the only one who is depressed. Dialysis is very exhausting and makes a person not want to do much of anything afterwards it really drains you. what you both need to realize is the dialysis is giving him some extra years to live and spend with you. remember he's probably going through some grieving about his loss of independence and depending on you more unfortunately, not to sound sexest but thats hard for some men.. take the time to enjoy one another. for better or for worse. consider taking him to the doctor for an antidepressant or maybe counseling would help. but hang in there!
