This will probably be my last post although I am sure I will come back to read what is going on with all of you. My last two blood tests have come back with a Sed rate of 1. I've been on 1 1/2mg prednisone for the past couple of months. My dear rheumy is taking me down to 1mg for 6 weeks, then 1 every other day for 6 weeks and then off totally. I asked her the other day if she had a lot of PMR patients and she said quite a few. The average run of the disease seems to be 2 1/2 years and I fell into that average. I now have some pulmonary problems that are being tested and evidently the prednisone was helping with that. So - seems if it isn't one thing or another!!! Anyway, my best wishes to you, particularly Shar and Ida and I truly hope your PMR resolves soon. Kay
