Hi Ida, Boy, it seems like a never ending struggle in trying to taper off of Prednisone. I am hurting and ready to throw in the towel with this Kineret! By the time I get back on Enbrel, I'll have a lot of catching up to do. Yikes! So your doctor says you don't have Lyme Disease. Does he believe you have PMR, but a long case of it? If so, I hope it goes away soon for you. My doctor thinks I may have PMR along with my RA. It's been 5 and 1/2 years. RA doesn't go away, though. You are making progress in tapering your Prednisone. Have you lost any of the weight gain now that you are down to 7/8mg? I am eager for that to happen for me. Hang in there. I look forward to your next post. Take good care, Ida. Shar
