Hi Shar-I posted a reply about the 27th but have not seen it show up so am replying again. I got down to 5 mg again but was hurting so I tried one day at 5 and one day at 6 1/4 but still hurting too much so today went to 7.5 to seee if I can tolerate that much. Do you have any idea what caused yours. I suspect it was a bad cold and sinus infection or death in the family. I got it starting in Dec 2000. I fit all the criteria to a T except my sed rate is considered normal but Dr. says about 5% of people have normal sed rate. I had a bone scan the other day and to my surprise it was better than last year. That is encouraging. I do have a cataract but I had it before the Pred.
