Hi Ida, It's great to hear from you. I always look forward to your post! I'm sorry that your recent Pred taper didn't take. I know how discouraging that can be. At least you are down to 8mg. I am stuck at 10mg. I was on Kineret for 4 weeks, but it just didn't work for me. I am back on Enbrel and feeling much better! Enbrel really works for me. After being off of it for a few weeks, I had all sorts of pain in all of my joints. What a difference it makes to be back on it! My rheumy also thinks I may still have PMR along with RA. What a bummer! What medicines are you on to control your symptoms besides Prednisone? Since I am on Enbrel and a small dose of Methotrexate, my dose of Prednisone is much lower than it would be without those helpful medicines. I just hope that I can taper the Prednisone soon, and maybe get off of it someday. I'm so glad to hear that you no longer have Lyme Disease. That's a plus! I look forward to your next post, Ida.
