Hello Ida! It's so nice to hear from you! My holidays were good. I hope yours were too! I'm so glad you are having success in tapering your Prednisone. I'm hanging in there at 5 mg, now. How about that! I'm a bit more fatigued in the early part of the day, but I'm not really feeling increases in pain and stiffness, as my doctor told me to watch for. I have just a tiny bit of stiffness in the back of my neck, but it may clear up after a little more time on the tapered dose. I have to be patient. And as far as the fagigue goes, that's nothing new. You know how that goes. Actually, I was feeling less tired the couple weeks before this newest taper, but now I'm back to where I was. Oh well. I guess I have to remind myself how lucky I am that I don't have something way worse than PMR! You asked about exercise. I work out 3 times a week on a treadmill and I use weight machines for toning and strengthening. I try to walk on the other days of the week. I take extra calcium and vitamin D, and I'm on HRT. I hope you have continued success in tapering the Prednisone and that you feel better each day! Please keep in touch, Ida! I want to know how you are doing. Shar
