Hi Ida, It's good to hear that your taper is going well. I would like to get my dose down some more, but I am stuck at 13mg right now. I have some mild pain and swelling in my feet and fingers, so I think I should wait a little longer and see if these symptoms settle down. Then, I'll try another 1mg taper. I have an appointment with my rheumatologist next week. I am eager to find out if he has any new ideas. Does Lyme Disease ever clear up, Ida? I hope that your's goes away soon. What is the treatment for it? Antibiotics? I know how discouraging it can be to have to deal with weight gain from the Prednisone. I guess we have to be content that this medicine helps us to stay mobile. I wonder if we'll ever get off of it. As for me, I rather doubt it. I'll be happy if I can get it down to 10mg or less. My eye exam was fine. Thank goodness. I hope things continue to improve for you, Ida. I am thinking about you. Post soon. Shar
