Hi Ida, I'm glad to hear from you too! I am still on 16mg of Prednisone, but I hope to taper it again next week. The Vioxx seems to be helping. Thank goodness! Prednisone can give us night sweats and hot flashes. I need the air conditioning on in our bedroom because I can't tolerate the heat since being on this drug. We bought a window a/c unit, and it really works well. I'm glad that you are managing to stick with your current taper. I am eager to hear what your doctors have to say next month.
